What You Need

Whether you are a college/university, company, or other organization, you need a hand. As your institution has grown and diversified, the breadth of its necessary resources has evolved. You are now facing challenges regarding the struggles and needs of transgender people, disabled people, or members of other disadvantaged groups. You want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to thrive in your environment, but you don't know where to start.

It's time to go to The Source.

How The Source University Can Help

We take care of everything.

  • Organizing
  • Connecting
  • Uniting

Providing accessible, broken-down resources and references regarding the needs and challenges of disadvantaged groups, as well as well as prompt answers to questions directly posed to members of these groups, The Source University's patent-pending method is an innovative paradigm shift in how the world thinks about diversity training. We're rolling out a full suite of programs using this method, the first being Transmission.

Introducing Transmission

Our flagship program, Transmission is a first-of-its-kind platform providing your employees with resources, references, and an anonymous, moderated question and answer section centered on the experiences of transgender people.

Developed with the unique needs of transgender college and university students in mind, Transmission connects faculty and staff with these students like never before.

When designing Transmission, we reached out to college professors and staff members to ask what kept them from in-person training sessions. Their responses pointed to a fear of "saying the wrong thing," seeming "stupid" in front of their students, admitting they didn't already have all the answers, and not having time to attend sessions during typical hours. We use our online, patent-pending dual-anonymity model to directly combat these hurdles, allowing faculty and staff to ask their real questions without worrying about how they are being perceived, while also allowing trans students from your university to speak openly about their needs, challenges, and experiences, without fear of outting themselves.

  • Online

Our online nature allows us to remain accessible 24/7, dynamically catering to every member of your university's individual schedule.

  • Updated

You can have confidence that Transmission will remain up to date as terminology changes. We stand by the resources, references, and access to individualized answers we provide.

  • Individualized

Transmission works with trans students from your own institution in order to give your Q&A section precise answers. You can also choose to be assigned trans students from another institution. Either way, we do all the legwork.

Whether you're looking to treat transgender customers are treated with respect or create a better environment for transgender employees, Transmission is here for you.

When designing Transmission, we looked into what kept people from in-person gender identity inservices. Their responses pointed to a desire to learn but fears of "saying the wrong thing," seeming "stupid", and admitting they didn't already have all the answers. Transmission uses our online, patent-pending dual-anonymity model to directly combat these hurdles, allowing your employees to ask their real questions without worrying about how they are being perceived.

Moreover, our model gives you an honest environment to find out what trans people would like to see from your business, whether as a customer or an employee.

  • Online

Our online nature allows us to remain accessible 24/7, dynamically catering to your employees' busy schedules. Since they engage when it's most convenient for them, logging in to Transmission never feels like a chore.

  • Updated

You can have confidence that Transmission will remain up to date as terminology changes. We stand by the resources, references, and access to individualized answers we provide.

  • Individualized

Transmission customizes our resources to your business needs. In addition, the trans people working our Q&A section will be briefed on your goals for the program. This way, they can best tailor their answers for your success.
